Here at Kids Academy we work alongside parents and any other services needed to ensure we provide high quality provision. We communicate with all parents on a daily basis and discuss not only their child's needs but any requirements they might have. we understand the importance of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and aim that everything we do within the nursery is to help children to meet the 6 outcomes (see Early Years Foundation page for details).

Our staff at Kids Academy are constantly attending new training courses in order to maintain and improve quality in the setting, This enables us to ensure that we have the best provision for your children.

Kids Academy is registered by OFSTED under the Children's Act of 2006, to allow us to provide care for children aged three months to five years old and meets every OFSTED requirement to the highest standard, Our nurseries are accredited by the Leeds Quality Assurance (LQA) scheme.

We welcome new babies and children to the nursery and make the joining experience a pleasant one  for all the family. A lot of care is taken at settling in stage -firstly the children visit with their parents and then a second visit is arranged for the child to come alone. We do not charge for these visits and more might be arranged if parents or staff think it appropriate.

We have strong links with local schools , reception class teachers visit children in our pre-school units and are provided with individual reports for each child from us so that they can clearly see how they have developed and what they are able to do thus making the transition to school as seamless as possible.

We have fantastic newly installed outdoor areas which children have access to on a daily basis, this allows them to take part in outdoor play with their friends. Children are taken out in all weather conditions, so they can experience new things. Children enjoy building snowmen together, jumping in puddles, digging in the garden and growing plants and vegetables in season.
